Bok Choy (I think!) growing very nicely
Chickens checking out kids clubhouse in the hay stack
Beetroot trying to grow with the petunias taking over

This is what's happening in our veggie patch this week. It's winter here and it gets very very cold at night, we've had lots of frosts this year.

Only two peas have suffered oh and the banana tree and passionfruit vine but that was to be expected.

I've never grown lettuce as we don't eat it much I wouldn't have thought they'd be so tough with the frosts but they haven't been affected at all.

This additional tips for go green gardening:
Use recycled containers to grow plants. I love these can planters. So
retro. And these self-watering plant pots made from 2-liter soft drink bottles

Frosts and lettuce
by: @chooktrader

I wouldn't have thought you could plant lettuce in a spot that has frosts either! Well done. Ps. Nice looking chicken - I bet she would present even more danger than the frost!
